Have you ever used a Ziploc to try to make a gel bag? This works in a pinch, but you may find they are thin, floppy, and break easily. If it's hard to find bags that don't have writing on the side, or your students are tempted to try to open the Ziploc, you might want to give these a try!

I love this way of making bags. So much better then using a double zip lock bag and then duct tape. I will have to see if I can find a sealer on ebay. I am going to share this post on my Learning Ahoy fan page.
ReplyDeleteCaitlin, If you have access to a contemporary vacuum sealer you might want to try that first. If you turn off the vacuum, and seal a couple of times, that just may do the trick!
